Raphael Mazzucco is a Canadian fashion photographer and contemporary artist internationally known for his distinctive blend of photography, painting and mixed-media artworks. His photography has appeared in global campaigns for brands such as Victoria’s Secret, Guess Jeans, Ralph Lauren, L'Oréal and Bergdorf Goodman.
Throughout his career Mazzucco has photographed notable figures including Matt Damon and Susan Sarandon and his work has appeared in international publications such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Playboy and Sports Illustrated.
Today Raphael Mazzucco focuses primarily on contemporary artworks that combine photography, collage and expressive painting techniques.
Raphael Mazzucco creates contemporary mixed-media artworks that combine photography, painting, collage and handwritten text. His artistic process often begins with photographs taken in remote landscapes around the world.
These images are then layered with expressive painting and calligraphic elements to create complex visual compositions exploring identity, culture and nature.
Raphael Mazzucco exhibitions have taken place internationally in cities including London, Milan, New York, Miami, Singapore and Melbourne. His works have been presented in galleries and art events including Art Basel Miami and Castle Fine Art.

Raphael Mazzucco was born in Canada in 1965 and spent part of his early life in Italy. Before becoming a photographer he was a professional soccer player.
During the 1990s he began working as a commercial photographer and quickly gained international recognition through fashion campaigns and editorial photography. Over time he expanded his creative practice into contemporary art.
