I have produced a lot of work that is largely photographic, and I am keen to try something new and more abstract, not so image led.  This experimentation opened me up as an artist.  I'm a huge fan of Robert Rauschenberg, one of my favorite creative artists, and this was the closest thing to attempting new things in that direction.  I realized then that if you can embark on a journey without sight or knowledge of the destination it will reach, the road travelled becomes very honest and organic.  This was beautiful for me.
